Vehicles equipped with a "Symphony Sound" system require the PXHAD2 harness as well as the PXHVW2 harness. Buick/Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC/Hummer/Oldsmobile/Pontiac. Radio must be equipped with a "TAPE/AUX" button or a "CD/AUX" button to be compatible. 1995-1999 radios that have a built in CD player (except Corvette) are not compatible because they do not have CD Changer control functions. 1998-2004 GM vehicles NOT equipped with a factory slave unit may not be able to support an external device therefore the AUX-BOX may not be compatible. Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Radio MUST have "Disc " printed on preset number one. 1999 Chrysler vehicles have one of two different style radios. These two radios use different harnesses. The shape of the radio face will determine which harness you will use. If your radio face is SQUARE, you will use the PXHCH1 harness. If your radio face is OVAL, you will use the PXHCH2 harness. 2002-2005 Vehicles: Radio models REF, REC, RAK & RAQ are not compatible. The model number is indicated on the face of the radio. Ford/Lincoln/Mercury. Not compatible in Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles equipped with a Blaupunkt sound system. 1995-1997 Ford Explorer & Crown Victoria with the JBL system will need the PXHFD1 cable with the connections to be made at the rear control unit. Toyota/Lexus/Scion. Not compatible with Hybrid vehicles. 2010 Toyota Vehicles: Radios equipped with a "RADIO" button are not compatible.
